Forensic Week Day 4

On day four of forensic week, we were split into two teams, criminal defense and prosecution. I was placed on the criminal defense team, once we were placed on our team we spent the class period getting together and discussing our main weaknesses as well as the prosecution's weaknesses. We also discussed our strongest pieces of evidence and how we thought the prosecution would try to prove our client guilty. We went over everything from how the victim died, the information on their phones, the time of the 911 call, and the suicide note found on the victim's phone. We came to the conclusion that it was impossible for the husband to have killed his wife due to the angle of the bullet wound. The bullet went from the right temple and exited out the left temple, meaning the gun was held at a perfectly straight angle, which is consistent with a suicide. The criminal defense attorney we worked with throughout the case was Marcus Fox.
