Forensic Week Crash Experience
Two cars that were previously involved in accidents were brought to the school parking lot. It was later explained that we were to investigate in order to find out who the driver of our car was. We were placed in groups of four and given ten minutes to go outside and collect all the evidence and data that we believed we would need. Each group was told to appoint a lead detective before we were able to start our investigation. Once we were outside we were assigned a car that we were allowed to go through. We each took pictures of items we believed to be important to our case, and later went on to compare notes. Once all our notes were deemed presentable, we had to create a oral presentation on how we came to the conclusion that said person was the driver, and what tests we would have run in order to reach that conclusion.
